Wednesday, August 16, 2006 ::: PANIC! It's time to panic. The book is quite thick, and they actually want us to memorize everything in the book. It's so funny a 80+ year old lady who gave birth to 13 (!!!) children was so embarassed when the doctor told her she'll need a gynaecological exam (I'll spare you the details). Her first reaction was "How can this be possible? There are so many of you..." and then later when she was on the exam bed she tried to cover her private part. Which wasn't particularly convenient for the procedure you can imagine. Later on when the nurse took away her shield (that's her pants) she said 'Maybe you should cover my eyes then..." She was almost in tears. And the nurse did cover her eyes with a piece of cloth. She was less anxious afterwards. That really worked! She's one cute old lady, ain't she? I can still dish out some new music for you (as if I'm making them). But no, I just spent a little time on youtube finding all the links so you can view them for your pleasure. Enjoy. I even categorize them for you! Am I not a good host? POP Hilary Duff – Play With Fire Oooh this is the new Hilary song! It's brand new, it's hot, and it's good! The video is kinda low budget but I like it nonetheless. She looks less anorexic and that's a good thing. Just saw her on Letterman, David was so mean he almost made her cry but she did a great job. I don't know why but Hilary is the only teen star/singer I like. (Mandy is in a different leaque now, isn't she?) Jamelia – Something About You This is the new Jamelia single. The song is quite good - it has a catchy verse, and a chorus that's 'inspired' by Since U Been Gone. Leigh Nash – My Idea Of Heaven As you know already Leigh Nash is the next CD you should get, if you can find an import here in HK. But My Idea of Heaven is really an awesome song and the video is great. It's ordinary but it suits the song. Just the kind of video you'd expect from Leigh Nash. HIP HOP Beyonce – Ring The Alarm Beyonce has been releasing songs that aren't so great these days. Deja Vu was certainly disappointing, and I can't say I'm impressed by this 2nd single Ring The Alarm (guess why they're releasing the video for 2nd single so soon?) But anyway this is better than Deja Vu and it's afterall Beyonce trying to be sexy. But she's totally lost it. We all want a Beyonce that shines instead of a grumpy, moody looking B. Diddy (feat Nicole) – Come To Me This song is HOT! You just have to watch it. It's a huge club track that I don't find too boring and that's a very good club track I tell ya. DANCE Cascada – Everytime We Touch This is what I mean the revival of that Vengaboys sound I've been looking for since they disappeared. The video is not cheap at all (for a tune like this especially - you usually only see naked girls running around but this one actually has a story kind of thing behind it!) and it has to be dance anthem of this summer. Slinkee Minx – Summer Rain This is a track I love - cuz it's my favorite BodyPump track. It's one of the BodyPump 'chest' tracks and this is one amazing dance tune. Video is crap, song is amazing.
